A Sporting Jaunt

This dark comedy has been flying around Director, Paul Gernon and Kealan O'Donovan's minds for a long time now. Wanting to direct it for about 6 years, it took that amount of time to convince the writer to go ahead with the idea.

Having the go ahead, Paul Gernon called both myself and Jonnie Hurn with regards to the two main roles. Having all worked together before, it was an easy "yes". Had it not been for the floods of 2007, this short would have been produced then.

During the shoot, the weather again seemed to take issue, raining on and off for long periods. Then there was the influx of wasps attacking the cast and crew, but with determination, we got the job done!

Back in the 1920's, life was much more simple, a time when the Aristocracy could simply go out in their country manors, have a few cocktails, drink lots of tea and just shoot.

However, in the hunt, D'Palme and Wilmott have such "exacting standards" that not even their friends will get in the way.
