John currently has two tranches of writing; Stage and Animation.

Stage-wise, John is basing his experiences heavily inspired by his Mother who lived with the after effects of a catastrophic stroke. Above you can see John's Arts Council funded R&D of his play, 'I'm Here', based on real life events of those who have suffered a stroke and entered into 'locked-in syndrome'. 

Using a mix of high-concept projection and snappy dialogue, this is the beginning of a long and adventurous route for John's writing.

In animation, John is currently developing an adult orientated cartoon called Johnny & George about two directionless guys who fall into misadventures day in, day out. From close encounters with dinosaurs, fighting sentient washing monsters, or jumping over living room lava, Johnny & George are two depressingly normal guys with absolutely abnormal adventures.
