John's writing is currently based on his experiences growing up as a child, heavily inspired by his Mother who lived with the after effects of a catastrophic stroke. This will form the basis of a trilogy.

Above you can see John's Arts Council funded R&D of his play, 'I'm Here', based on real life events of those who have suffered a stroke and entered into 'locked-in syndrome'.  Using a mix of high-concept projection and snappy dialogue, this is the beginning of a long and adventurous route for John's writing.
